Terms of Service
Effective November 2026
These terms apply to DutyWatchman (“the app”), operated by Keptly LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA (“we”, “us”). By installing the app in your Shopify store you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. What the app does
DutyWatchman reads product and order data from your Shopify store. It shows which products lack an HS code or country of origin, and where the code used on an order differs from the one on the product. On the Pro plan it repeats this check once a day, emails you about anything new, and sends a monthly report.
The app is read-only. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your store.
2. Not customs advice
The app reports missing or differing data. It does not determine whether a code is legally correct, what duty is owed, or whether you meet any customs rule, and it is not legal or customs advice. A complete result does not mean your data is correct. It cannot detect every problem, and it depends on what Shopify makes available. A daily check means a problem can exist for up to a day before it is noticed. You remain responsible for your product data, classifications, declarations, duties and taxes.
3. Plans and billing
- Free: check your catalog and see how many orders are affected, at any time.
- Pro: USD 14.99 every 30 days for the order list, daily check, email alerts and monthly report, after a 7-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
Charges are made through Shopify's billing and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app or switching back to Free; the current billing period is not refunded, except where Shopify's rules or the law require it. We will announce price changes at least 30 days in advance.
4. Acceptable use
You must be authorized to install the app in the store. Do not use it to access data you are not entitled to, to interfere with Shopify's services, or to try to break, copy or resell the app.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may improve or change features. If we stop offering the app, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Keptly LLC is not liable for lost sales, lost profits, duties, taxes, carrier charges, customs penalties, or other indirect or consequential damages, including damages from a problem the app did not detect or did not report in time. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if Shopify stops allowing the app to access your data.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
